This farmhouse addition was completed in two phases a couple years ago… and it’s still one of my favorite transformations. We added over 1,000 square feet to this home with a formal dining area, new entry way, living area, kitchen and sun room. We were also able to remodel the exterior of this home with new siding, updated roofing system, stone and a full wrap-around geo-deck porch.

The addition has a traditional and farmhouse design-style. Upon entering you’ll see several large traditional pillars that define the space between the formal dining room and kitchen. Your focus is immediately drawn to the contrasting grey island and white cabinetry in the kitchen; the island matches the floor-to-ceiling fireplace and is finished for a “distressed” farmhouse look.  We added pull-out spice racks to optimize storage, a large farmhouse sink and a unique, detailed tile pattern behind the stove. Glass french doors off the kitchen lead to the sun room that connects to a mudroom off the back end of the home. The entire addition features beautiful dark hardwood flooring, custom white trim and upgraded Andersen windows.
